Stir the mixture at 90 C for 3 h. Cool down the reaction and add cyclohexane (4 L) and water (4 L) and separate phases. Re-extract the aqueous layer with cyclohexane (2.5 L) and evaporate the combined organic layers to afford the desired compound as a brown oil (420 g, 8 1%). M+1597.
