Multivalent glycopolymers containing three different glucose pendant spacer lengths in the polymer backbone having various weight percentages of covalently bonded glucose moieties were obtained by the deacetylation of acetylated polymers synthesized via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) process.
